Why it matters

Capture Every Incentive Available for Your Project

Many utility companies offer rebates for building more efficiently than code but these programs are complex, technical, and often overlooked.

e2o Energy specializes in identifying and securing utility incentives for new commercial construction projects. With over a decade of experience primarily in Arizona and across multiple states we help owners, developers, and contractors maximize available rebate dollars and improve overall project ROI.

We understand how utility programs are structured, how applications are reviewed, and how to position projects for the strongest rebate outcome.

The result: Lower net project costs and stronger financial performance from day one.

Utility programs

Which utilities support new construction rebates?

New construction incentives come from the utility that will serve the finished building. Each program has its own measures and deadlines, so early contact matters. We map your plans to the right SRP, APS or TEP program during design.

e2o Energy Group is a registered Trade Ally with all three programs. Registration is not an endorsement; each utility approves and verifies every project. See real results in our case studies, including Great Hearts.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What are new construction utility rebates?
New construction rebates are utility incentives for designing and building commercial projects more efficiently than energy code requires. Qualifying measures can include HVAC, lighting, controls and building envelope choices. The programs are technical and often overlooked, so incentives are frequently left unclaimed when no one manages the application during design.
When should I contact e2o about a new project?
Contact us as early in design as possible. Many programs require applications or design reviews before equipment is ordered or installed, and late submissions can reduce or forfeit incentives. Ideally we review plans during design development, so qualifying equipment can be specified and documented from the start.
What does e2o handle in the rebate process?
We manage the rebate process from start to finish. That includes reviewing plans, confirming customer and project eligibility, preparing and submitting applications, providing cut sheets and specifications, coordinating with the utility and owner’s representative, verifying installation and following up until rebate funds are issued. You focus on building.
Which types of projects qualify?
Our new construction division has worked on schools, industrial, retail, offices and other commercial buildings. Qualification depends on the utility serving the site, the program’s current rules and the measures specified. We review your plans against SRP, APS or TEP program requirements to identify which incentives apply.
Do you work outside Arizona?
Our experience is primarily in Arizona, and we have also supported projects across multiple states. Most of our new construction work involves Arizona utilities such as SRP, APS and TEP. If your project is elsewhere, contact us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help with that utility’s program.
Who receives the rebate on a new building?
That depends on the program and how your project agreements are written. The incentive may be paid to the owner, developer or another party named on the application. We confirm who should be the payee early and coordinate with the owner’s representative, so the rebate reaches the right party when funds are issued.
